Specifies whether you are creating a single-mode or a multiple-mode trunk.
In a single-mode virtual interface, only one of the interfaces in a virtual interface is active. The other interfaces are on standby, ready to take over if the active interface fails.
In a multiple-mode virtual interface, all the interfaces in the virtual interface are active. This logical aggregation of links provides higher throughput than possible if the interfaces were configured as a single-mode virtual interface.
