This option provides more flexibility when setting replication schedules. The schedule is in the following format:
minute hour dayofmonth dayofweek
Use the following rules when entering values for each schedule field:
Each field is separated by a space.
Each field can contain more than one value, each separated by a comma.
Field values can be expressed as a range of values. The range consists of two values separated by a hyphen (-). For example,1-5 in the hours field means 1 a.m. to 5 a.m., inclusively.
Field values can be expressed as step values. Step values consist of a range followed by a slash (/) and a number. The number after the slash specifies the size of the step. For example, 0-12/2 in the hours field means every other hour starting at 12 a.m. and ending at 10 a.m. This can also be explicitly entered in the hours field as 0,2,4,6,8,10.
A field can contain an asterisk (*). An asterisk means that all values for that field apply. If you specify an asterisk in each field of the schedule, the filer updates the mirror every minute.
If you want to schedule data replication every minute, you enter the following:
* * * *
If you want to schedule data replication every day except Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m., you enter the following:
30 23 * 1,2,3,4,5
If you want to schedule data replication every day at 1:00, 1:15, 1:30, 1:45, 5:00, 5:15, 5:30, 5:45, 7:00, 7:15, 7:30, and 7:45, and you are using range values, you enter the following:
0-59/15 1,5,7 * *
