Specifies the quota type, which can be user, group, or qtree. A user or group quota can be defined for a particular tree or a particular volume.
Included are users and groups @/vol/vol0; for example, user@/vol/vol0 and group@/vol/vol0. For each volume you currently have on your filer, a line specifying @<volumename> exists for both user and group. These enable you to specify a quota for a particular volume for that user or group.
You can enter one of the following values in the Type field to define the quota type:
user: If a user quota applies just to a qtree and not to the entire volume, specify tree. If a user quota applies to a volume other than the root volume, you can use the @<volumename> type, where <volumename> is the name of a current volume on your filer.
group: If a group quota applies just to a qtree and not to the entire volume, specify the group@<volumename> type. If a group quota applies to a volume other than the root volume, use the @<volumename> type, where <volumename> is the name of a current volume on your filer.
tree: A tree quota is the complete path name to an existing qtree, for example, /vol/vol1/home.
