Configuring job-related displays

Parameters you can Configure

You can configure the following parameters in job-related displays:

Number of assignments that you view in the job History window
Length of time during which a job is displayed in the Jobs view table of the main screen
Refresh rate of the fields in the jobs view table
Note
A higher refresh rate uses more resources than a lower one.

Setting the number of assignments viewed in Job History

To set the number of assignments to be viewed in the Job History window, complete the following steps.

In the Main menu bar, select File > Preferences.

Click the jobs tab.

Enter the desired value in the "job assignments to display in history dialog" box.

Click OK.

Setting the length of time jobs are displayed in the Jobs view

To set the length of time jobs are displayed in the Jobs view complete the following steps

Step	Action
1	In the Main menu bar, select File > Preferences.
2	Click the jobs tab.
3	Enter the desired value in the "Display jobs created in the last (days)" dialog.
4	Click OK.

Refresh rate of the fields in the Jobs view table

To configure the Refresh rate of the fields in the Jobs view table, complete the following steps.

Step	Action
1	In the Main menu bar, click File > Preferences.
2	Click the Jobs tab.
3	Enter the desired value in the "Refresh rate (seconds)" dialog.
4	Click OK.

When you first log in to the ContentDirector user interface, the main screen appears with the Jobs view selected. Because you have not yet created a job, the table is empty.

1	In the Main menu bar, select File > Preferences.
2	Click the jobs tab.
3	Enter the desired value in the "job assignments to display in history dialog" box.
4	Click OK.
