The material in this chapter starts with the distribution event. You define the components that control the distribution event ahead of time. These components make up the job. After the job is defined and the content is at the source locations, running a distribution event is simple and straightforward. Because jobs are predefined, easily modified, and reusable, ContentDirector makes the distribution of content flexible and controllable.
