Resources for distributing content
About resources
This section describes the resources in the ContentDirector database that are used in the content distribution process.
API rights to resources
The following table lists types of resources in ContentDirector, their purpose, and the rights of the API to each type. The API can have one of three rights to a resource:
- Full--create, modify, delete, and retrieve information on existing objects
- Read--only retrieve information about existing objects
- None--cannot access this resource
In addition to content distribution resources, ContentDirector has general preferences and a system of user rights to which the API has no access.
