System requirements

System requirements for core application machines  Top

OS

The core application runs on Windows NT and 2000 and Solaris UNIX systems.

Processor and RAM

The processor speed and RAM on the core application machine can be fairly modest, however, performance is improved if you increase the speed and memory of the system. If you intend to push jobs that are quite large or to run multiple jobs at any given time, you should consider increasing the processor speed and RAM of the core application machine beyond the minimal requirements.

Video

The installation utility and the user interface require that the video system be capable of displaying at least 256 colors. If the video system does not meet this requirement, the installation cannot complete, and the user interface cannot display correctly.
