This is the simplest configuration of Content Director. The core application resides in the data center, and communicates with ContentDirector Agents in remote offices. Each office has a single transport group leader/group member that fetches data directly from the core application. This deployment scenario also applies when the core application and all transport group members are on the same WAN.
This configuration requires a bi-directional hole in each firewall for GCDP and an inbound hole on the core application firewall for HTTP GETs.
