Before you start

Before you test your installation, check the Network View in ContentDirector to confirm that the core application detects the CDA.

To check the network view, complete the following steps:

1	At the left side of the ContentDirector main screen, click Network.
2	On the left panel, click the plus + sign next to the NetSeg number to expand the view.
3	ContentDirector displays information about the CDA: On the left panel, beneath the NetSeg number, ContentDirector displays the group leader icon and the name of the machine on which the group leader is installed. On the right panel, the type of the CDA lists as Transport Group Leader, Transport Group Member, or both. The type should match the type you configured. The correct status is: online, responding, host site(s), and license. Any other statuses indicate a problem.
