To run the ContentDirector installation wizard, complete the following steps.

Insert the ContentDirector CD into the CD drive.

Navigate to the root directory of the CD and double-click setup.exe to begin the installation.

At the Welcome screen, click Next.
|

In the License Agreement screen, please read the license agreement carefully. Click Yes to accept the license agreement and continue with the installation.

In the Choose Destination screen, accept the default location of C:\Program Files\Network Appliance Inc\ContentDirector, or click the Browse button to select another location. Click Next.

In the Select Program Folder screen, select a program folder for the ContentDirector program icons. Choose one of the following actions:
- Click Next to accept the default program folder
- Select a different folder from the list under Existing Folders
- Type in the name of a new folder under Program Folders

In the Edit Data screen enter your license number or click the Evaluation checkbox. Your license number is included with in the product shipment.
The Evaluation expires after a sixty-day period. At that time you will need to purchase ContentDirector and obtain a license to continue running it.
Click Next.

ContentDirector installs. The status window displays a progress bar showing the percentage complete.

The installed ContentDirector services start.
|

Click Finish to dismiss the installation wizard.
