About viewing reports

Once you have created and processed a report definition. You can view the report to see the processed results. You view a report from the Report Results page.

About the Report Results page

The Report Results page provides you access to all instances of a processed report definition. Each time a definition is processed, a new report result is listed in the Report Results page.

The information listed for each Report Result provides you with:

The the report name and description from the report definition.
The date and time when the definition was processed
The name of the person who created the Report Definition -- the Author
Note
Based on the privileges associated with your ContentReporter account, you might or might not have access to certain Report Definitions.

About report formats

Depending on the format selection you made when you created the Report Definition, ContentReporter reports display in three different formats:

XHTML Format-- The default report format is XHTML, which displays in a browser window.

Text Format -- Reports formatted for text output delimited by spaces or tabs display as a text file in Notepad or program associated with .TXT files on your system.

Csv Format -- Report Definitions formatted for text output delimited by commas displayed as CSV files in Microsoft Excel or program associated with .csv files on your system
