Configuring a Windows NT system

From the Windows NT user interface, click Start > Settings > Control Panel, and double-click Services.

Result:

The Services window appears.

Select the ContentReporter service, and click Stop.

Result:

The ContentReporter service stops.

Click Startup.

Result:

The Service window appears.

Click the This Account radio button, and click the browse box.

Result:

The Add User window appears.

Select the user account from the drop-down list with Administration privileges on the ContentReporter server machine and access to the mapped drives, click Add, and click OK.

Result:

You return to the Service window, and the user account appears in the This Account field.

Enter the account's password in the Password field and the Confirm Password field, and click OK.

Result:

You return to the Services window.

Select the ContentReporter service, and click Start.

Result:

The ContentReporter service starts.

Click Close > File > Close.

Result:

You return to the Windows NT user interface, and have successfully assigned a login user account to the ContentReporter service.

Note
When you start the ContentReporter service, you may need to wait a moment for the ContentReporter to start running.
