Logging in the first time
To log into ContentReporter the first time, complete the following steps.
Note
If you purchased ContentReporter, you will find your License Key listed in the Software License Key letter in your ContentReporter kit.

You have opened the License Login window as part of the installation process

Go to step 2.

You are logging in from the ContentReporter server machine
|
Double-click the ContentReporter startup icon on your desktop, or click Start > Programs > Network Appliance > ContentReporter > ContentReporter Login.

You are logging in from a machine with HTTP access to the ContentReporter server machine
|
Launch your Web browser and browse to the following URL:
http://servername:7777/ContentReporter/index.html
servername is the server name or IP address of the ContentReporter machine.
7777 is the ContentReporter-specific port.

In the License Login window, enter your License Key or select the Evaluation check box, then click Submit.

In the ContentReporter Login page, enter "admin" in the Username field, enter "admin" in the Password field, and then click Enter.
Result:
You open the ContentReporter home page, and are successfully logged into ContentReporter.

Note
If you log into ContentReporter from the ContentReporter server machine, you see an IP address of 127.0.0.1 in the Web browser's URL field. This is the machine's local host IP address.
