Configuring LDAP and NTLM authentication

Configuring ContentReporter for LDAP authentication

About LDAP authentication  Top

ContentReporter gives you the ability to use an existing Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server for authentication. This includes Microsoft Active Directory. Basically, you "point" ContentReporter at an LDAP server. When users attempt to log into ContentReporter with their LDAP account, the ContentReporter server retrieves the account information from the database on an LDAP server.
