Web site name restrictions

Web site restrictions  Top

In addition to setting page permissions, you can specify the Web site names on which a user or group can generate reports. By default, a user or group can generate reports on all site names (such as "www.netapp.com") in a cache's database records. When you specify site names for a Local user or a group in the Add Permissions and Modify Permissions windows, the user or group can only create and run reports on these sites names.

Site Name and Host Name  Top

In ContentReporter, a "Site Name" is the first or only domain name (with its extension) in a URL string. When one web site hosts another web site, the first domain name (with its extension) is the "Site Name," and the last domain name (with its extension) is the "Host Name."
