When one partner takes over for the other partner, the following message is logged in the Messages log, indicating that takeover occurred:
Took over addresses of partner.
When one partner gives back responsibility to the other partner, the following message is logged in the Messages log:
Gave back addresses of partner.
You can view the Messages log on the Log Files - Messages page (Data tab > Log Files > Messages) in the Appliance Manager.
The Takeover - Status page (Data tab > Takeover > Status) in the Appliance Manager also shows the current state of the partner of the NetCache appliance.
