Section G: Contacting Network Appliance Technical Support

Information to note before calling for support  

Before contacting your service provider or Network Appliance Technical Support, make sure that you have the following information available:

• The system serial number (from the Autosupport message)
• The system configuration as reported in the System Configuration - General page (Data tab > System Configuration > General) in the Appliance Manager
• Any diagnostic messages as reported in the Messages log on the Logging - Messages page (Data tab > Logging > Messages).
