NetCache provides the following protocols in its e-Commerce technology suite:

Real-Time Monitoring protocol (RTMON)
NetApp RADIUS extensions (NetCache vendor-specific RADIUS extensions)

The following table summarizes the monitoring and control functions that are associated with each protocol. Each protocol and the level of monitoring and control provided with the protocol are discussed in later sections of the chapter. You can mix and match components; for example, if you are using RTMON, you can add a component that provides authentication.
