The Distributed NFS Appliance

About this chapter  

This chapter discusses the distributed NFS appliance as a data services solution. The appliance extends file server capability by caching and serving content that originates from NFS file servers. Additionally, this chapter describes how the appliance facilitates seamless file sharing across a network.

Location of configuration options  

Options for configuring distributed NFS are in the following location in the Appliance Manager:

Setup tab > NFS

Using the CLI  

To get information about NFS commands from the CLI, enter the following command:

set config.nfs.?

To get help for a specific appliance option, enter the following command:

help config.nfs.optionname
