Ways you can update the URL database

You can update the DynaBLocator URL database automatically or manually. To ensure that your URL database is always up-to-date, Network Appliance recommends that you set up DynaBLocator for automatic updates. Bandwidth consumption resulting from downloading URL database updates should not be a concern. The reason is that only the changes to the URL database are downloaded.

How often to update the URL database

Network Appliance recommends that you update the URL database twice each day--the same frequency at which the WebWasher corporation updates the file.
