Planning for Web or Streaming Acceleration

About this chapter  

This chapter describes configuring the appliance as a Web accelerator or a streaming accelerator. It contains a planning section, configuration overview, and configuration examples.

For an overview of the appliance deployed as an accelerator, see the Deployment Guide.

Before reading further  

This chapter assumes that you have read the information about Web acceleration in the Deployment Guide and have made decisions about how you want to deploy your appliance as a Web accelerator on your network.

To access the Web acceleration options in the Appliance Manager, select:

Setup tab > HTTP > Web Server Accleration
