You can view availability events that are triggered by rules you have configured to run. A monitor sends out an event to show you the state of your storage resources.

Availability Events view displays information for the following rules:

- Aggregate state rule
- Controller global status rule
- Volume state rule
- Shelf state rule
- Fan state rule
- Power supply state rule
- High availability state rule
- SnapMirror state rule
- SNMP trap rule
