Adding a site recovery MetroCluster cluster resource to an application

To use the site recovery plug-in MetroCluster functionality with an application, you must add a site recovery MetroCluster cluster resource to the application in your WSFC cluster using Failover Cluster Manager.

Steps

1. In the left navigation pane of Failover Cluster Manager, expand the cluster that you want to manage.
2. Click Services and applications, then select the application to which you want to add a cluster resource.
3. From the menu choices at the top of Failover Cluster Manager, navigate to Action > Add a resource > More resources > Add MetroCluster Resource.
