Breaking SnapMirror relationships
If the SnapMirror source becomes unavailable or if you wish to use the SnapMirror destination for writing and reading, you can break the SnapMirror relationship. You can use the SnapMirror window to break a SnapMirror relationship and make the destination volume writable. It is best to quiesce the SnapMirror relationship before breaking it.
Steps 
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system.
2.
Ensure that the left navigation pane displays the Vservers hierarchy.
3.
In the navigation pane, select the Vserver and click SnapMirror.
4.
Select the SnapMirror relationship that you want to break.
5.
Click Operations > Break.
6.
Select the confirmation check box and click Break.
