Adding roles

Vserver : Configuration > Security > Roles : Managing roles : Adding roles

You can add an access-control role and specify the command or command directory that the role's users can access. You can also control the level of access the role has to the command or command directory and specify a query that applies to the command or command directory.

Steps

1.	From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system.

2.	Ensure that the left navigation pane displays the Vservers hierarchy.

3.	In the navigation pane, select the Vserver and click Configuration > Security > Roles.

4.	Click Add.

5.	Type the role name and add the role attributes.

6.	Click Add.
