Predefined roles for cluster administrators
The predefined roles that Data ONTAP provides include admin, readonly, and none.
The following table describes the Data ONTAP predefined roles and their level of access.
Role name
Level of access the role has for the specified command directory
Default granted capabilities
admin
all
Grants all possible capabilities.
readonly
readonly
Grants read-only capabilities.
none
none
Grants no capabilities.
You can create additional roles by using the security login role create command.
