Discovering storage systems
You can use the Discover Storage Systems dialog box to discover storage systems or clusters on a network subnet and add them to the list of managed systems.
Before you begin

All the nodes in the cluster must be running Data ONTAP 8.1 or later.
Steps 
1.
From the Home tab, click Discover.
2.
In the Discover Storage Systems dialog box, type the subnet IP address, and click Discover.
3.
Select one or more storage systems from the list of discovered systems and click Add Selected Systems.
4.
Verify that the storage system that you added is included in the list of managed systems in the System Manager application window.
