Adding initiators

You can use the Edit Initiator Group dialog box to add initiators to an initiator group. An initiator gets access to a LUN when the initiator group that it belongs to is mapped to that LUN.

Steps

1.	From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system.

2.	Ensure that the left navigation pane displays the Vservers hierarchy.

3.	In the navigation pane, select the Vserver and click Storage > LUNs.

4.	Click Initiators Groups.

5.	Select the initiator group to which you want to add initiators and click Edit.

6.	In the Edit Initiator Group dialog box, click Initiators.

7.	Click Add.

8.	Specify the initiator name and click OK.

9.	Click Save and Close.
