Efficiency Policies window

You can use the Efficiency Policies window to create, display, and manage information about efficiency policies.

Opens the Add Efficiency Policy dialog box, which enables you to run a deduplication operation on a FlexVol volume for a specified duration.

Edit

Opens the Edit Efficiency Policy dialog box, which enables you to modify the schedule and maximum runtime of the deduplication operation on a FlexVol volume.

Delete

Opens the Delete Efficiency Policy dialog box, which enables you to delete the selected efficiency policy.

Status

Open the drop-down menu, which provides options to enable or disable the selected efficiency policy.

Refresh

Updates the information in the window.

Efficiency policies list

Policy

Specifies the name of an efficiency policy.

Status

Specifies the status of an efficiency policy.

Schedule

Specifies the name of the schedule for the deduplication operation.

Maximum Runtime

Specifies the maximum runtime duration of an efficiency policy. If this value is not specified, the efficiency policy will run till the operation is complete.
