What the network configuration checker is
The network configuration checker tool verifies the network configuration settings in the /etc/rc files with the active configuration settings in the storage systems managed by System Manager.
Note: You can use the network configuration checker tool to verify configuration mismatches only on storage systems running Data ONTAP 7.3.3 or later.
The tool verifies the following network configuration settings:
•
VLAN (GVRP, VLAN tags)
•
Interface group (type, policy, links, favor, no-favor)
•
Interface configuration (IP address, netmask, MTU, flow control, media type, Windows server, trusted interface)
•
Route (destination, metric, next-hop, prefixlen)
