Creating aggregates

You can use the Create Aggregate wizard to create an aggregate to provide storage to one or more FlexVol volumes. You must specify the RAID type, RAID group size, and disk type. You can set the SnapLock attribute and enable synchronous mirroring for the new aggregate.

Before you begin

For a SnapLock aggregate, the SnapLock Compliance license, the SnapLock Enterprise license, or both must be installed on the storage system.

Steps

1.	From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system.

2.	In the navigation pane, click Storage > Aggregates.

3.	Click Create.

4.	Type or select information as requested by the wizard.

5.	Confirm the details and click Finish to complete the wizard.
