What a cluster is
: Dashboard window
Dashboard window
The dashboard contains multiple panels that provide cumulative at-a-glance information about your system and its performance. You can use the
Dashboard
window
to view information about space and CPU utilization, the status of storage objects, notifications, system properties, network throughput, and protocol operations.
The following panels are displayed:
Properties
Displays cluster attributes such as the cluster management IP address, Data ONTAP version, number of nodes and Vservers in the cluster, and the number of Vservers that are stopped, if any.
System Health
Displays the overall health of the cluster and the health of each subsystem in the cluster. A link is provided to the
System Health Monitor
.
The color and the state indicate the health of the subsystem:
•
Green: Indicates a normal state
•
Red: Indicates a degraded state
•
Amber: Indicates a suppressed state
Alarms
Displays alarms generated for the following:
•
Average client latency (performance of NFS and CIFS operations)
•
CPU utilization
•
Data network health (ratio of number of packet errors to total number of packets)
•
Data port utilization
•
Storage space utilization
Storage
Displays the total number of aggregates and the number of offline aggregates, if any.
