Adding home directory paths
You can specify one or more paths that can be used by the storage system to resolve the location of users' CIFS home directories.
Steps 
1.
From the home page, double-click the appropriate storage system.
2.
Expand the Storage Virtual Machines hierarchy in the left navigation pane.
3.
In the navigation pane, select the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) and click Configuration > Protocols > CIFS.
4.
Click Configuration.
5.
In the Home Directories area, click Edit.
6.
In the Edit Home Directory Search Paths dialog box, specify the paths used by the storage system to search for users’ CIFS home directories.
7.
Click Add, and click Save and Close.
