Manage ONTAP™ SDK 3.5.1

Overview
 

Manage ONTAP SDK provides resources to develop third-party applications that monitor and manage NetApp® storage system. It contains the following resources:

  • SDK Core API library bindings in C and C++, Java™, Perl®, C#, VB.NET, and PowerShell.
  • Support on Windows®, Linux® (RHEL/SLES/OEL), Solaris™, HP-UX®, AIX®, VMware® ESX.
  • SDK Core API and Data ONTAP API documentation, sample codes, developer tools.
  • Manage ONTAP SDK Help.

What is new in Manage ONTAP SDK 3.5.1
 

Following are the new additions in this release:

  • Microsoft .NET support for PowerShell 1.0.
  • SDK core APIs for connection timeout in Java and Perl.
  • The Manage ONTAP SDK 3.5.1 documents the APIs of Data ONTAP 8.0 (7-mode).

  • To compile applications on the 64 bit UNIX-like environment, use GNU C/C++ Compiler 3.2 or later.
  • Sun™ Java SDK 1.4.
  • Perl 5.8, 5.10.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later for C#, VB.NET, and PowerShell.
