NAME
Get-NcQtree

SYNOPSIS
List the qtrees in a cluster or vserver.

SYNTAX
Get-NcQtree [[-Volume] <String[]>] [[-Qtree] <String[]>] [-VserverContext <S
tring>] [-Attributes <QtreeInfo>] [-Controller <NcController[]>] [<CommonPar
ameters>]

Get-NcQtree [-VserverContext <String>] -Template [-Controller <NcController[
]>] [<CommonParameters>]

Get-NcQtree [-VserverContext <String>] -Query <QtreeInfo> [-Attributes <Qtre
eInfo>] [-Controller <NcController[]>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION
List the qtrees in a cluster or vserver.

PARAMETERS
-Volume <String[]>
The volume(s) containing the qtrees to get. Data ONTAP wildcards are pe
rmitted. This parameter may also be the complete path of the qtree in t
he format /vol/<volume>/<qtree>, in which case only one path may be spec
ified in this parameter and the Qtree parameter must not be specified.

Required? false
Position? 1
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Qtree <String[]>
The name of one or more qtrees to get. Data ONTAP wildcards are permitt
ed.

Required? false
Position? 2
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

-VserverContext <String>
Vserver to which to direct this command. If the currently connected con
troller (as embodied by an NcController object) represents a cluster, th
ere are multiple means to address commands to one of its vservers. Eith
er set the Vserver field on the NcController object to direct all subseq
uent commands to that vserver, or supply the VserverContext parameter to
an individual cmdlet. Only cmdlets which may be invoked on vservers of
fer the VserverContext parameter.

Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Attributes <QtreeInfo>
For improved scalability in large clusters, provide a QtreeInfo object w
ith various fields set to indicate which fields to return on all objects
. Undesired fields should remain set to null. Use "GetNcQtree -Templat
e" to get the initially empty QtreeInfo object. If not specified, all d
ata is returned for each object.

Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Controller <NcController[]>
A Data ONTAP cluster-mode controller to receive this cmdlet, as embodied
by an NcController object. This parameter is returned by the Connect-N
cController cmdlet. If not specified, the value in the global variable
CurrentNcController is used. In the latter case, if CurrentNcController
contains a collection of NcController objects, this cmdlet is invoked o
n each controller in succession.

Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByValue, ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Template
Specify to get an empty QtreeInfo object for use with advanced queries i
nvolving the Query attribute.

Required? true
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Query <QtreeInfo>
For advanced queries, provide a QtreeInfo object with various fields set
to indicate which records to retrieve. Other fields should remain set
to null. Use "Get-NcQtree -Template" to get the initially empty QtreeIn
fo object.

Required? true
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false

<CommonParameters>
This cmdlet supports the common parameters: Verbose, Debug,
ErrorAction, ErrorVariable, WarningAction, WarningVariable,
OutBuffer and OutVariable. For more information, type,

-------------- Example 2 --------------

C:\PS>$q = Get-NcQtree -template
$q.SecurityStyle = "mixed"
Get-NcQtree -Query $q

List all qtrees with a mixed security style. The same result could have bee
n obtained using:

Get-NcQtree | where { $_.SecurityStyle -eq "mixed" }

but the difference is that using the -Query attribute offloads all of the pr
ocessing to Data ONTAP so that only the objects of interest are returned to
PowerShell.
