DESCRIPTION
PowerShell analogue of Data ONTAP's sysstat CLI command.
This cmdlet uses the performance APIs to deliver a running tabular display o
f real-time performance metrics. The values presented are as similar as pos
sible to those provided by sysstat within the bounds of the performance APIs
.
Unlike sysstat, Invoke-NaSysstat supports not only top-level controller metr
ics but also performance values for other object classes such as volumes, vf
ilers, LUNs, network interfaces, storage adapters, individual data protocols
, and WAFL.
In some cases, there are more data fields than fit in the tabular views; use
"Format-List *" to see everything.
In the unformatted output, data sizes are presented in bytes. Data rates ar
e presented in bytes per second. Latency values are presented in millisecon
ds.
PARAMETERS
-SampleIntervalSeconds <Double>
Period in seconds of the sampling frequency at which records are returne
d.
Required? false
Position? named
Default value 15
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false
-Count <Int32>
Number of iterations to get. Omit to run indefinitely.
Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false
-Hashtable
Specify to capture performance data in a hashtable keyed by instance nam
e instead of individual objects. This is intended to simplify using and
accessing the performance objects in scripts.

Default value
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false
-Controller <NaController>
The Data ONTAP controller object, embodied by an NaController object. T
his parameter is returned by the Connect-NaController cmdlet. If not sp
ecified, the value in the global variable CurrentNaController is used.
