NAME
New-NcNameMapping

SYNOPSIS
Insert a new name mapping into the table at a specified position.

SYNTAX
New-NcNameMapping [-Direction] <String> [-Position] <Int32> [-Pattern] <Stri
ng> [-Replacement] <String> [-VserverContext <String>] [-Controller <NcContr
oller[]>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION
Insert a new name mapping into the table at a specified position.

PARAMETERS
-Direction <String>
Direction of the name mapping to be inserted. Possible values:
"krb_unix" - Kerberos principal name to UNIX user name mapping
"win_unix" - Windows user name to UNIX user name mapping
"unix_win" - UNIX user name to Windows user name mapping

Required? true
Position? 1
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Position <Int32>
Position within the set of name mappings that this new mapping will take
. If a mapping already exists at this position, it will be moved to the
next position in the list.

Required? true
Position? 2
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Pattern <String>
Pattern to use to match the name while searching for a name that can be
used as a replacement. The pattern is a UNIX-style regular expression. R
egular expressions are case-insensitive when mapping from Windows to UNI
X, and they are case-sensitive for mappings from Kerberos to UNIX and UN
IX to Windows.

Required? true
Position? 3
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Replacement <String>
The name that is to be used as a replacement if the pattern associated w

'sed' program.

Required? true
Position? 4
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

-VserverContext <String>
Vserver to which to direct this command. If the currently connected con
troller (as embodied by an NcController object) represents a cluster, th
ere are multiple means to address commands to one of its vservers. Eith
er set the Vserver field on the NcController object to direct all subseq
uent commands to that vserver, or supply the VserverContext parameter to
an individual cmdlet. Only cmdlets which may be invoked on vservers of
fer the VserverContext parameter.

Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? false
Accept wildcard characters? false

-Controller <NcController[]>
A clustered Data ONTAP controller to receive this cmdlet, as embodied by
an NcController object. This parameter is returned by the Connect-NcCo
ntroller cmdlet. If not specified, the value in the global variable Cur
rentNcController is used. In the latter case, if CurrentNcController co
ntains a collection of NcController objects, this cmdlet is invoked on e
ach controller in succession.

Required? false
Position? named
Default value
Accept pipeline input? true (ByValue, ByPropertyName)
Accept wildcard characters? false

<CommonParameters>
This cmdlet supports the common parameters: Verbose, Debug,
