Cmdlet: Disable-NcFcAdapter
NAME
Disable-NcFcAdapter
SYNOPSIS
Call the corresponding adapter driver disable function to bring the adapter
offline.
SYNTAX
Disable-NcFcAdapter [-Node] <String> [-Adapter] <String> [-Controller <NcCon
troller[]>] [<CommonParameters>]
DESCRIPTION
Call the corresponding adapter driver disable function to bring the adapter
offline. Under some circumstances an adapter can not be put offline. (e.g. w
hen the adapter is being used by the RAID sub-system to provide disks in a v
olume). In some cases, manual intervention is required. When this happens, a
n appropriate error messages is returned.

The storage system name the command will be executed on.

A clustered Data ONTAP controller to receive this cmdlet, as embodied by
an NcController object. This parameter is returned by the Connect-NcCo
ntroller cmdlet. If not specified, the value in the global variable Cur
rentNcController is used. In the latter case, if CurrentNcController co
ntains a collection of NcController objects, this cmdlet is invoked on e
ach controller in succession.
