DESCRIPTION

The sdconfcheck tool is used to detect the components and check the various combinations of components supported by SnapDrive for UNIX.
The components are
          1. Operating system version
          2. Architecture (SPARC, AMD64 etc)
          3. Host Utilities tool kit
          4. Protocol (FC, iSCSI, NFS)
          5. File system type
          6. Volume Manager type
          7. MPIO solution Type
          8. Cluster solution Type

The sdconfcheck tool collects information of above components and deduces the supported configurations to run SnapDrive for UNIX comparing with the default snapdrive.conf. The SnapDrive for UNIX version to be verified can be directly specified in CLI or can be specified through snapdrive.conf file. Selective component(s) can also be verified through CLI.
The sdconfcheck detect output will be logged into /var/log/sdconfcheck.out. The existing logs will get renamed incrementally as sdconfcheck.out.1, sdconfcheck.out.2, etc.
