The disk expand command

The disk expand command expands the disk by a user-specified size, as long as that figure falls within the SnapDrive-specified minimum and maximum values.

Syntax for this command is:

sdcli disk expand [-m MachineName] {-p LUNpath | -d MountPoint} -z DriveSizeIncrement

DriveSizeIncrement is measured in megabytes.

Example

sdcli disk expand -z 1024 -d p

The preceding example increases the LUN mapped to “P:” by 1 GB. (In practice, SnapDrive expands the disk by the amount specified by -z, plus a certain increment required for system overhead.)
