SnapDrive for Windows recommendation when using CSVs

To ensure that Microsoft Cluster Shared Volumes display properly when using SnapDrive for Windows, you must first enable the Hyper-V server role in Windows Server 2008 R2. This is necessary because SnapDrive uses the Hyper-V server role to tag the disk as a CSV, enabling live migration of virtual machines.

For file sharing purposes, Microsoft allows CSV creation without the Hyper-V role present; however, Microsoft does not recommend this configuration.
