Backing up system resources

Before you install SnapManager, Network Appliance strongly recommends that you back up your system resources using your current backup tool or another industry standard backup utility.

To back up your system resources, complete the following steps.

Step	Action
1	Back up the operating system installation on the Domino server, including the system state.
2	Back up your Domino data, transaction log files, notes.ini file, and server ID.
3	Back up the boot and system drives, and the registry.
4	Use an industry standard backup tool to create and maintain a current emergency repair disk (ERD).
