Installing SnapManager on a Domino cluster

About this section  Top

This section explains how to install SnapManager on a Domino cluster. Because Domino clustering uses real-time replication across all nodes, it is not necessary to install SnapManager on every node of your cluster.

If SnapManager is installed on node 1 of your cluster, and node 1 goes down, it is recommended that you have SnapManager installed on another node in your cluster for data management. After node 1 is brought back up and the rest of your nodes replicate data back to node 1, you can once again use node 1 as your primary data management node.
