Upgrading from SnapManager for Exchange 2000 v1.0

Upgrading from v1.0

To upgrade from SnapManager for Exchange 2000 v1.0.x, complete the following steps.

Step	Action
1	Uninstall SnapManager for Exchange 1.0. For details, see Uninstalling SnapManager.
2	Perform a new installation of SnapManager 3.1 for Microsoft Exchange. For details, see Installing SnapManager. Note When you launch SnapManager 3.1 for Microsoft Exchange for the first time after upgrading from SnapManager 1.0, a window appears prompting you to upgrade the backup name from the old version to the new version. (The backup name now includes the Exchange Server name.)
