If you must delete an individual backup, you can do so using the procedure explained in this section.
To delete an individual backup, complete the following steps.
Note
The window shown in this procedure is for the Exchange 2000 or 2003 version of SnapManager. If you are using Exchange 5.5, some of the text you see is slightly different. However, the actions you take to perform these steps are the same.
| 1 |
Select the SnapManager Restore tab in the SnapManager interface. |
| 2 |
Select the storage group (Store) in which the backup resides. |
| 3 |
Right-click the backup you want to delete and select Delete to display the Delete Single Backup window.
|
| 4 |
Review the list of backups sharing this snapshot; all of these backups will be deleted at the same time. |
| 5 |
Using the Retain Up-to-the-Minute Restore Ability... check box, select whether you want to retain the ability to use any older backups that might remain after the deletion to perform up-to-the-minute restores. For more information about this option, see Option to retain up-to-the-minute restore ability. |
