Options for deferring verification

Running verification on a production Exchange server using the Microsoft verification utility is CPU-intensive and also involves substantial filer activity. For this reason, it can degrade Exchange client responsiveness during work hours.

By default, SnapManager verifies a backup immediately after the backup is completed. However, SnapManager provides the following options that enable you to separate the process of verification from the backup itself:

You can defer verification.
This is done by selecting the correct option in the SnapManager Backup Wizard or the Backup tab.
