SnapManager reports list step-by-step details for every SnapManager operation you perform, the final status of the operation, and error messages for any errors encountered during the operation.
The SnapManager Reports tab provides four folders, which contain the reports for each of these operation types:
Note
There could be other folders if you are running SnapManager in a Windows cluster or you have a previous version of SnapManager Reports.
You can use the Options > Report Directory Setting menu to change the directory where your SnapManager reports are stored. You might want to do this if you find that you have limited space in the original report directory.
If you change the path, you can no longer see the reports created before the path was changed, but they are still accessible. You can look at them by changing the Report Directory Setting back to the original setting and selecting Refresh from the View menu.
By default, the report directory is in the disk where SnapManager is installed. In a Windows cluster, however, this does not allow the report directory to be shared between the nodes in the cluster, and you cannot see the same reports from different nodes. To avoid this problem, you can use the Options menu to move the report directory to a disk that belongs to the same group as your Exchange virtual server. This needs to be performed from every SnapManager node.
Attention
Do not use a disk that contains Exchange or SnapManager data for the report directory; it is restored from Snapshot copy when you perform a SnapManager Restore.
