The exhaustive transaction log sequence checks the transaction log headers and mounts the Snapshot copies for further verification.
SnapManager follows this sequence of steps:
- Analyzes the transaction log headers.
- Verifies the following conditions:
- The transaction logs are all present and sequenced correctly.
- The signatures of all the transaction logs match.
- Each transaction log's create time matches the next log’s previous time.
- Mounts a Snapshot copy of the databases in this backup copy and analyzes the database headers.
- Checks if the database signature matches the log database signature.
