Point-in-time restore from the most recent backup  Top

Use caution when selecting a point-in-time restore from the most recent backup. After a point-in-time restore of the most recent backup, you can still perform an up-to-the-minute restore from any backup, including the most recent backup. However, any transactions that occurred between when you created the last backup and before you performed the point-in-time restore will not be restored. The reason for this is that when you perform the point-in-time restore, the transaction logs containing transactions recorded after the selected backup are removed.
