4.6. Blinking message
Problem:
The Connection Status in the Runtime window blinks between
TCP Link to dataserver established
and
Socket has closed
Cause:
The nserve program is not running.
Solution:
Ensure that both qserve and nserve are running on the data server. Remember that qserve must be started first.
 | The message will blink for a while, but if you don't close the Runtime window, the Socket will eventually time out, and stay closed for about 5 minutes. |
